We also offer resources and advice – through information sessions, workshops and networking events – about starting and running a business, while keeping in mind your individual circumstances and how to overcome challenges and barriers.
We have programs and events for every stage of the business journey –from brand new to well-established. These include our Venture Dorm eight-week business accelerator program, Innovative Manufacturing Accelerator, Innovation for Transformation professional certificate, and more. Our programs deliver practical and theoretical knowledge to help you get your business idea to market, or your current business to the next level.
We want to connect you to those who have successfully gone through a similar journey, and who can share their knowledge and experiences to help you do the same.
Linking and Referring
We want to connect you to business support services, funding and assistance providers, and local business leaders across industries. We’ll link and refer you to appropriate services so that you can foster new relationships for your business.
Through Flinders New Venture Institute, you’ll be the first to know about business development trips around the world that can provide insight into international markets and potential global opportunities for your business.
Start your business with this guide on your side
If you are starting a new business, congratulations! While it is a big, bold decision, it is also a fulfilling and rewarding one. As part of the Entrepreneurship Facilitator Services program, we aim to equip you with resources to help you set up and start out successfully.
One of the common questions we get asked is, “What do I need to know about starting my business?”
Our e-book Start Your Business: The Ultimate Guide for Regional South Australians, Barossa-Yorke-Mid North Edition offers an overview and checklist of steps to take and factors to consider when starting your business. Reviewing this e-book is one of the first key steps we recommend to any new business founder.
Subsequently, we offer a continuum of services including meeting with our Entrepreneurship Facilitator Dee Edwards to chat one-to-one about your personal business situation, as well as business workshops, trainings and programs that focus on specific aspects of business.
As a first step, we invite you to access our e-book to help guide you through the practical steps of setting up your business.
