Building World Class Innovation Precincts For Impact | With Dr. Ilse Treunricht

April 24, 2018 @ 4:45 pm - 5:45 pm

Join us in a curated conversation with Dr. Ilse Treurnicht, former CEO of MaRS, one of the world’s most highly regarded innovation precincts.

As a Tonsley connection you’re invited to join us for a conversation on innovation precincts, how they’ve evolved globally and on our home soil. What propels research institutions like MaRS to create change all over the world? Can we pinpoint the importance of accelerators and incubators for their tenants, whether they’re a start up or established enterprise?

Dr Treurnicht will present a detailed look at MaRS; from its conception, to its current state, impressive results so far and plans for a boundless future.

Following Dr Treurnicht’s presentation, New Venture Institute’s Bert Verhoeven will host a fireside-style chat and Q&A session where you can put forward your own ideas around global innovation ventures. We’ll round out the conversation with drinks and networking.

We look forward to seeing you there.
