Two Teaching Specialist Positions
Ref No: 16149 Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Innovation and Enterprise
Ref No: 16150 Associate Professor in Innovation and Enterprise

The two positions will work in the New Venture Institute at Flinders’ Tonsley Campus, teaching new undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Innovation and Enterprise as part of the activities of the New Venture Institute.

The New Venture Institute is the focus of innovative and entrepreneurial activities at Flinders where innovative new approaches ensure a focus of the resources of the University to create new social, economic and culture value. The Institute acts as a front door for industry engagement with the university, promotes and enhances experiential educational initiatives across the university and delivers cutting edge programs to help students, staff and the community explore new ways of working through entrepreneurial thinking. With a dynamic program of events and activities, and a growing suite of accredited topics and courses, the New Venture Institute continues to differentiate Flinders University as the source of the most enterprising graduates ready for the jobs of the future. The new programs these two positions will teach are undertaken in partnership with the Fox Business School at Temple University in the United States.

At the Lecturer level the appointee will be responsible for teaching and topic coordination and development of new topics in the area of innovation and enterprise in the face-to-face and/or online mode.

At the Senior Lecturer level the appointee will also, in addition to the above, be involved in leadership roles including the development of new majors and programs.

At the Associate Professor level the appointee also, in addition to the above, will undertake the program director role and provide leadership in the teaching and implementation of the innovation and enterprise educational initiative.

•Flinders Business School and New Venture Institute
•Available on a three year convertible full-time basis
•Salary: Lecturer (Level B): $90,045 to $106,926 pa full-time
•Senior Lecturer (Level C): $110,301 to $127,182 pa full-time
•Associate Professor (Level D): $132,812 to $146,317 pa full-time

Plus 17% employer superannuation
